Regulatory Disclosures

Crescita Tax & Advisory Pty Ltd, trading as Crescita Tax & Advisory, is a registered tax agent and is subject to the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA), including the Code of Professional Conduct administered by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). In accordance with our obligations under the Code, we provide the following information to our current and prospective clients.

The Tax Practitioners Board register

The TPB maintains a public register of registered tax agents and BAS agents. You can use the register to confirm our registration and to view details of any sanctions or conditions that may apply to a registered practitioner.

The register is available at tpb.gov.au/public-register, and guidance on how to use it can be found at tpb.gov.au.

Matters we are required to disclose

As a registered tax agent, we are required to advise current and prospective clients of certain prescribed events and any conditions imposed on our registration.

As at the date above, there are no prescribed events to disclose, and no conditions imposed on our registration. Should any such matter arise in the future, we will advise affected clients in writing within 30 days, in accordance with our obligations under the Code.

Your rights and obligations

When we provide tax agent services, you have rights and responsibilities under the taxation laws, and so do we. In summary:

  • We will provide our services competently and with reasonable care, act honestly and with integrity, and keep your information confidential unless we are authorised or required to disclose it.

  • We will advise you of your rights and obligations under the taxation laws that are relevant to the services we provide.

  • You are responsible for providing us with complete and accurate information in a timely manner, keeping proper records to support your tax affairs, and reviewing the documents and advice we provide so you can raise any questions before lodgement.

Working together on this basis helps ensure your tax affairs are handled accurately and that you achieve the best possible outcome.

Making a complaint

If your concern relates to our conduct as a registered tax agent and you are not satisfied with our response, you may also lodge a complaint with the Tax Practitioners Board at tpb.gov.au/complaints.
